Give your OSD a retro font
OSD Fonts brings 278 retro bitmap fonts to the Betaflight analog OSD: IBM PC ROMs, terminal fonts, game fonts and demoscene charsets, each shown on an FPV feed before you flash it.

Where the fonts come from
- IBM PC ROM fonts (167): VGA, EGA, CGA, BIOS, Tandy, Amstrad and more.
- Terminal and game fonts (24): Terminus, Spleen, unscii, ZX Spectrum, ProggyClean.
- CC0 fonts (45), public domain, plus our own CC0 icon set: together a font that is public domain as a whole.
- Demoscene charsets (42) from the C64 and Amiga days.
Every font is converted to the 12×18 characters of the MAX7456 analog OSD. Letters and digits come from the retro font; the symbols (battery, signal, horizon, arrows) come from an icon set, so your OSD stays readable.
Browse, mix, edit
- Browse filters by letter size, stroke weight, license and source, and groups look-alikes so the list stays short.
- Mix combines letters from one font with icons from another, plus the Betaflight logo or your own 288×72 image. The mix lives in the link, so you can share it.
- Editor is a pixel editor for any
.mcmfile, with undo, fill, copy and paste and a tracing overlay. - Letter edge: outline, drop shadow or bevel, white on black or black on white.
Flash it
Download the .mcm and load it with the Font Manager in Betaflight Configurator, or upload it straight from the browser over USB in Chrome or Edge on desktop. The install page walks through both. OSD Fonts is for the analog OSD; digital systems use their own fonts.
